Good morning! After a little time away from Snapchat, I’m back today with a fun day. We have a breast augmentation and a ton of patients!
DURING BREAST AUGMENTATION SURGERY
Sizers are “stunt implants” that help us determine the best size implant for her. So I’m irrigating the pocket now, to show that it’s all clear and there’s no blood. It’s a beautiful dissection. Implants are placed with a no touch technique. Implants are in, and time to close up her incisions. Everything went perfectly, and now I’m going to run downstairs and start seeing patients at the office.
PATIENT CONSULT – CRUSHED HEAD
So this is a gentleman who had his entire head here crushed. I fixed it with a bunch of plates. He’s doing great; you can barely see the scar, and it’s less than a month after surgery. Just a few more weeks and it’ll be fine.
PATIENT CONSULT – SKIN CANCER EXAM
One thing I do as a plastic surgeon is I take care of people’s skin with relation to sun damage to check for the potential of skin cancer. This lovely young woman has a couple of skin lesions that are concerns to me for skin cancer. We’re going to check them to make sure everything is OK.
I’m doing a little shave biopsy of this lesion so we can send it and see what’s going on.
Patient: It wasn’t painful at all. That was super fast and fairly easy.
PATIENT CONSULT – DERMAL FILLERS
Patient: Long time patient of Dr. Gabbay’s, and I am so excited every time I come here. I know he’s going to do his magic on me and then I’m going to look fresh. This treatment sends me to heaven.
Ron is the patient I have known the longest. We have been together since I was a resident at UCLA.
